IFFID (International Foundation for Implant dentistry) & V K Dental Pvt Ltd (Monoimplant India) India conducted its 1 st International Congress on Oral Cortical Implantology on 9 th & 10 th July along with pre-congress course on 6 th ,7 th & 8 th July 2019.
The Grand success of the congress was highly appreciated by National & International delegates. The Scientific sessions were carefully crafted & an innovative holistic interactive approach was employed whereby Speakers, Students & the faculty. The conference saw over 300 delegates from 14 countries attend from various parts of the country giving it a true PAN INDIA colour The pre-congress course was held successfully with 40 doctors which include lectures by Dr Veerendra Kumar followed by live surgery on patients. The 2 nd day of pre-congress included Hands-on workshops where the participants placed the implants on animal jaws.Cadaver course on 3 rd day held at M. S Ramaiah was unique learning experience for the doctors. The inaugural ceremony was resided by -Dr Bharath Shetty; Vice president of Dental council
of India along with Dr Rajkumar Alle; president of Karnataka state dental council & Dr Rahul hedge; member of Dental council of India (DCI).
The Congress witnessed many renowned international speakers from different parts of the world which includes Dr MARCO E PASQUALINI(Italy); Dr SILVANAO U. Another first-time participant asserted that the āCortico Basal Techniqueā is not a future prospect but rather a concept that should have been embraced long ago. The senior clinician who attended the conference noted that the conference
